1. MINUTES – 19th November 2008

Recommendation:

That the Minutes of the Personnel Committee held on 19th November 2008 be confirmed as a correct record and be signed by the Chairman.

To receive any declarations of members’ interests in any matters which are to be considered at this meeting.

4. EXEMPT ITEMS

The Council Manager will report that the following items relate to exempt matters under Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 1972 and will ask the Committee to pass the following resolution:

RESOLVED:

That, under Section 100(4) of the Local Government Act 1972, the public be excluded from the meeting during consideration of the remaining items on the grounds that they could involve the disclosure of exempt information as defined in Paragraphs 1, 3 and 4 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Act.

5. LOCAL GOVERNMENT REORGANISATION IN SHROPSHIRE – EARLY RELEASE OF EMPLOYEES WITH APPROVED EARLY RETIREMENT/VOLUNTARY REDUNDANCY

To consider a report of the Corporate Management Team on requests received for early release under this Council’s compromise scheme from those employees with approved early retirement/voluntary redundancy.
