This section of the site contains information about the rich and proud history and tradition of Shrewsbury and Atcham Borough Council.

Shrewsbury and Atcham Borough Council came into being in 1974, when as a result of Local Government Reorganisation, Shrewsbury Borough Council merged with Atcham Rural District Council.
