Shrewsbury and Atcham Borough Council has been awarded a Crystal Mark for its Housing and Council Tax Benefits forms.
The Award is made by the Plain English Campaign who were impressed by the clarity of the forms.
Mick Barlow, Revenues and Benefits Manager, says
"The staff have put a lot of thought into making what can be a complicated process as simple as possible. We hope to encourage colleagues elsewhere in the Council to do the same".
