Rural Community Initiatives Grants

Rural community groups and voluntary sector organisations can apply for a small pot of grant funding from Shrewsbury and Atcham Borough Council. SABC have £5000 of Rural Community Initiative funding to award this month, the deadline for applications is November 20th 2006.
 
Steve Cunningham, Community Regeneration Manager said, "The rural grant scheme is an extension of the previous community initiative programme that funded over 90 schemes throughout the Borough. This programme is aimed specifically at providing additional support to groups and organisations operating at grass roots in rural communities".
 
Groups and organisations are encouraged to apply for small amounts of funding to enable SABC to support more organisations. The maximum award is £1000.
