What is an IEG Statement?
The government has set targets for electronic delivery of services by local government.
Of services capable of electronic delivery, 25% must be available electronically by 2002, with 100% being available by 2005.
All councils were asked to submit a statement outlining how these targets will be achieved, to the Department of Transport, Local Government and the Regions (DTLR).
